You see, before you can experience this, it maybe common to have thoughts such as:

“Well, if I actually play big, it’s going to make some of the people around me to have hurt feelings and then they will feel bad. You know I’m kind of with my click here and they are my click, we kind of like to stick to this level. You know, if I start playing at a higher level it’s going to create some waves and make them feel bad.” ☹️

If this is the way that you operate, there are so many people that you could impact that you won’t based on thinking that way.

You have to be willing to get around people that will let you spread your wings and fly!

Good Will Hunting

One of my favorite movies of all time is Good Will Hunting. There is a scene from this movie that I wanted to talk about.

In Good Will Hunting, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are bets friends and they’re constriction workers.

But Matt Damon is a math genius. Off the charts kind of smart he actually blows away professors. He’s just on another level.

Every day Ben Affleck drives to Matt Damon’s house, and picks him up and takes him to he construction job.

One day Matt tells Ben that “Yeah, you know, I’m getting all these job offers and they’re wanting me to do military intelligence and stuff like that. I just love you guys. I just want to work with you guys.”

Ben Affleck who’s is a true friend says, I got to tell you. Every day I drive up, I hope that you’re not here.”

Matt responds with, “What? What are you talking about, man?”

And Ben responds with, “Dude I don’t have your potential, I don’t have what you got. For you to waste it breaking rocks with us is a shame. I love you and I’ll love you as long as you’re here but every day I hope that you’re not here.”

Now that is a find who knows the potential that he has and will not be selfish and want to keep him on the level that he knows that he shouldn’t be at.

Would be love to be homies for the rest if their lives? Of Course! That would be a shame if that was the stance that he took. Being a real friend sometimes is harder than one thinks.

So, if you’re worried about shinning you light so Brite that other people around you see and in return they would try to out a negative impact on you, then you are not in the right place and you’re not with the right people especially when it comes to long term.

Push Yourself

You heard Johny talking about pushing his car, right?

He Sat there and waited and was thinking, “Oh, no one’s helping me. Come on guys.”

But when he started pushing the car then other people joined him.

The right people started helping out and pushing hi scar with him. That’s the deal.

When you start shining then the right people will show up. The right people show up to help out. So start shining today!!!

Start Shining

People don’t always like it, they don’t like how big you’re playing? That’s just fine.

That’s a self reflection on themselves always.

And, I’ve had this at every job I’ve ever had and I think most people will agree I think it’s safe to say evert business I’ve ever don and will probably every do. Everything I’ve ever done there has been people that I was associated with, sometimes they’re friends or family, and some didn’t like it. Did’t like how I was showing up. More often than not it is fro some type of jealously or envy.

You will have people show up that want to celebrate you, they want to soak in the sun with you this is the light that you are shinning. So Shine on!!!
