Allow Yourself Faster Recovery Time!ย

Whether it’s your day job, a new business venture, or a hobby, it can be so easy to burn out โ€“ even with the things we love.

I wanted to share a few tips with you to hopefully break the cycle of burning out and help you push through the low points while allowing faster recovery time on your way to success!

๐Ÿฅก1. Take Breaks

Give yourself permission to step away from a project if its becoming too overwhelming. Even if its just a 15 minute break to step outside or go grab some coffee, those moments can recharge your focus so much more than you think!

๐Ÿฅ…2. Set Boundaries

Your work/life balance is so important. Learn to set boundaries for yourself. Maybe that means not working on job-related projects after a certain time, or turning email notifications off after you leave the office. Give yourself space to avoid cramming too much into your head, so you can return fresh and ready to work!

๐Ÿ“…3. Use Your Calendar

We all know how much I love my calendar. But seriously, setting aside time in your day where you know you’ll be focusing on one specific thing is so helpful for avoiding the feeling of burn out. This ties into the habit of setting boundaries โ€“ designate time for projects, and let yourself rest when they’re done or your time for them is up! It’s okay to step away from things, as long as you efficiently use the time you’ve set out for yourself to work.

๐ŸŽ—4. Find Support!

Reach out to those around you if you’re struggling! A community of people around you who are also working on their businesses, dealing with the stress of a job, or trying to turn their hobby into a career is infinitely valuable. Find some like-minded friends that you can go to for support, and your energy will be renewed over and over again.
