Royalty free music is Problem One of the biggest frustrations of making online videos. Particularly YouTube Videos is using good music that doesn’t get you in trouble.

Royalty free music Copyright issues are not joke. YouTube can give you a content strike or even worse take down your YouTube Channel. If you’re using music that you’re not supposed to use.

This is a very lengthy subject that includes so many legalities that I could take you through, but let’s be honest… Boring!!!

So instead I want to tell you about two great resources. I use these to make royalty free music with videos and you can too with not a worry about being reprimanded for.

Sources:

The first resource and my favorite. NoCopyrightSound is the site I actually that I would like to listen to on an everyday basis.  Which to me is uncommon to most royalty free music and content library’s to most of them just sound cheesy.

This is what I found on their Description…

NoCopyrightSounds is a copyright free / stream safe record label, providing free to use music to the content creator community. We work with artists from around the world in electronic music, representing genres from House to Dubstep via Trap, Drum & Bass, Electro Pop and more.

NCS Music is free to use for independent Creators and their UGC (User Generated Content) on YouTube & Twitch – always remember to credit the Artist, track and NCS and link back to our original NCS upload.”

The second resource that I want to talk about is YouTube itself.  If you go to your YouTube Page go to the video manager page and under videos.  Click on the create tab and it pulls up an entire library . This royalty free music that won’t get you into copyright issues at all!

You can download by genre, mood, and even choose by an instrument!  One of my favorite things that I use a ton.  This can narrow it down by duration so you can find something that fits that amount of time that your video needs.  For easy reference you can always favorite music. That way you know that you like and would love to use later with out having to dig through the entire library again!

One more fun fact is that the YouTube Library has more sound effects than you could ever imagine. If you need something like that to make your video complete then you’re in luck!!!

Music Tips:

Keep in mind that this is called background music for a reason.  Make sure that you are adjusting the volume to the proper level.  This will make sure that this will not distract the viewer from what you’re saying since the message is in the content of the video.

The second tip that I have for the music is to make sure that you’re matching the music with what you’re saying in the video. If you are trying to be funny, energetic, romantic, and even scary.

You cab find all different types of music to perfectly latch the tone of the video that you have created.  These tips will inly help your emphasize your message, and help your viewers stay tuned into what it is that you’re trying to say!

I hope that this short article helps you in someway on your New YouTube or content creating journey!!!
