Are you new to Network Marketing?

If you really want to go big, here’s what I’d recommend doing for anyone in the network marketing space.

Network Marketing Tips for People Just Starting Out

  1.  Have a Strategy in Place and stay committed to it

Have a strategy stay committed to it more than trying to have an exit strategy.

I actually saw that for the first time on Shark Tank when it was said by Mark Cuban.

  • “Have a committed Strategy over an exit strategy” – Mark Cuban

What most people say is ” You know what I will do?  I will give it a month or so to see how it goes and we will see”.

If someone wanted to join me on my team in my network marketing company and they said, “You know what I’m going to do?  I will give it one month.  I will give it one month and just see how it goes.”

I would pull them aside and say, “If that is the way that you’re going to look at it, why don’t you just hold on to you money, my friend.”

  • They would respond with, What?

What network marketer would tell people to hold on to their money?

I would follow up with, “You know what I think?  If that is the approach, why don’t you keep you money?  Just take your money and go and treat yourself to a nice dinner of some sort.  Spend the money that you were going to spend here on something nice that you will appreciate?  That is your money to do what you want with it so you should spend it on something that you will enjoy.  I think that would be best.”

Think of it from the Business Side of the Situation

If someone is coming into the network marketing saying that they will give it a month, then it isn’t going to work.

Can you name any other business that works like that?

Does a doctor go through medical school and say “I’m going to give it a month.  You know what?  I’m going to practice on a few people and we will see what happens.  Give it 30 days and see.”

Does a Owner of a Speak Easy put hundreds of thousands of dollars into a new location, get all the supplies that are needed to run a Speak Easy and then say “I’m going to give it 30 days.”

One of the things that draws people to network marketing is the amazing low cost to start a business, but it often is it’s greatest weakness as well since not as much is invested.

Anyone can come into network marketing for a couple hundred dollars, and have a ready to go business basically out of a starter kit.

“I’ll give ti 30 days.”  What other career says that?  None that I know of!!!

I’ve never heard anyone say, ”  I’m going to start a cleaning company, and I’ll give it a month.  I’m going to get all the equipment and supplies that I need spending 10’s of thousands of dollars to clean anything that you can imagine, I’m going to advertise, hire all kinda of staff, and look for accounts.  And, yeah, I’m going to give it a month and see what happens.”

At Least 1 Year is Required at a Minimum

You need to be committed and have a strategy in place.  Have a plan that will take you through the first year to start if you want to see the second year, but the first years needs to be a committed plan to see the second year.

If you stuck to the plan and it took you 3-5 years of sticking to this committed strategy to create financial freedom, would that really be the worst thing?

Is this an option that you would be ok with?  For most people they would not be.

What if it took 3-5 years?

A well thought out and committed strategy is so important “Just saying that you’re going to try it for 30 days and see what happens” isn’t going to cut it.

2. Become Part of A Community for Support!

The second part of this, if you are new to network marketing you need some support or an accountability partner.

If you have the right community then you will be help accountable, and you will have others there to be able to ask questions or stress concerns that you maybe having.  I suggest other people on you team or maybe even an up-line.
