FOCUS ON THE SMALL SUCCESSES
FOCUS ON THE SMALL SUCCESSES
Studies Show that you can achieve significant weight loss by achieving 300 moderately active minutes per week.
I know, that may seem like focusing on the small successes a huge number – but when you break that number down into individual minutes, it suddenly becomes so much more doable.
300 minutes per week averages out to 42 minutes per day, and it doesn’t have to be all at once!
5 minutes when you wake up. 5 minutes while dinner is cooking. 5 minutes before bed to focus on the small successes.
Breaking down seemingly intimidating tasks into bite-sized pieces is one of the best ways to motivate yourself.
Not to mention, the feeling of achieving something is addicting – why not experience it more through multiple smaller goals?
This is just as true for non-exercise tasks.
For instance, if you’re a business owner like me, it can be just as daunting to look at the long-term goals you set for yourself to focus on the small successes.
How can you break down those goals into short term wins? Take some time to analyze the goals, milestones, and to-do lists that have been looming over you for a while.
